Our Mission Statement

New Opportunities, Inc. is committed to providing person-centered services and support for adults with developmental disabilities. These service promote independence, enhance quality of life, and full inclusion and participation in our community. We actively protect each person's rights and encourage choices that balance individual growth, empowerment and satisfaction with necessary support for safety. New Opportunities helps each person build a meaningful future with self-determination and expression of his or her unique potential.

Vision Statement

New Opportunities Vision is to provide people who are developmentally challenged with opportunities that will enable them to achieve the personal outcomes that they desire.

Our Team

Kim Fears is the Executive Director and has been with New Opportunities since the beginning in 2014. Kim has a lot of experience and knowledge in Sensory Stimulation and its effects on people with developmental disabilities. She has a Master's degree and has been in the field for more than 48 years.

Laura Winte is one of our two Program Directors and has been with us since 2011. She is commited to the field as she has a family member with a developmental disability and has a particular interest in supporting people with problem behavior.

Angela Snell is our second Program Director and joined us in 2022. Angela has the excitment of someone new to the field who is finding her passion and is always open to a new challenge. She moves frm a career win child care to working with adults and is able to use much of that knowledge to inform her responses to the people we serve.

Regina Trebing is our office Manager and is the senior member of our Leadship Team. She has been with us since 2003! Regina wears many hats, having become certified as a DSP to support us when necessary and is also in charge of all front office aspects of our agency. She had lots of office experience in the past, but this is her first experience with the field of intellectual disabilities and thinks people need more exposure and knowledge about what we do!
